From Airdrops in a Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently published a post on <a href=\"https:\/\/dpetkovski.com\/airdrops-the-real-0-to-100k-opportunity\/\">Airdrops<\/a>, explaining how DeFi users can profit massively from them.<\/p>\n<p>I also predicted 2024 to be <em>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dpetkovski.com\/5-predictions-for-2024-cryptocurrency-edition\/#4_The_Year_of_Airdrops\">the year of airdrops<\/a>&#8220;<\/em> and it&#8217;s completely deserving of that title so far.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, I want to share my experience from the last 10 days so you can get a better idea how lucrative following new narratives can be.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the projects that distributed tokens recently:<\/p>\n<div id=\"ez-toc-container\" class=\"ez-toc-v2_0_60 ez-toc-wrap-center href=\"http:\/\/localhost\/dpetkovski\/20k-from-airdrops-in-a-week\/#Closing_Thoughts\" title=\"Closing Thoughts\">Closing Thoughts<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dymension_DYM\"><\/span>Dymension ($DYM)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I&#8217;ll start with the most recent one.<\/p>\n<p>I received Dymension&#8217;s $DYM airdrop by satisfying various eligibility criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Being an $ATOM delegator<\/li>\n<li>An $OSMO delegator<\/li>\n<li>$TIA delegator from multiple wallets (which I also got via airdrops before)<\/li>\n<li>Multiple wallets with sufficient activity on Ethereum L2s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The best part? The tokens allocated for addresses that were eligible but didn&#8217;t claim were distributed to those that did, boosting our $DYM allocation.<\/p>\n<p>More details on <a href=\"https:\/\/genesis.dymension.xyz\/\">Dymension&#8217;s Genesis page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Long story short, this was the most recent and also the juciest airdrop of all.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"AltLayer_ALT\"><\/span>AltLayer ($ALT)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Initially, I received the AltLayer airdrop as an <strong>EigenLayer\u00a0<\/strong>restaker from multiple wallets.<\/p>\n<p>A week later, they opened the claim for <strong>Celestia delegators<\/strong>, so I got assigned extra tokens from that as well.<\/p>\n<p>More details on <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.altlayer.io\/altlayer-airdrop-season-one-celestia-stakers-registration-phase-now-open-db613cf38351\">AltLayer&#8217;s Airdrop page<\/a>. Also, here&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/dpetkovski.com\/preparation-for-eigenlayers-restaking-unpause-airdrop-opportunity\/\">my approach to restaking<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The allocations per qualifying wallet weren&#8217;t as massive as $DYM, but altogether I still ended up with a decent amount of $ALT.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pro tip: <\/strong>don&#8217;t underestimate the importance of being active across different ecosystems, with multiple wallets, and keeping up to date with new narratives.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"WEN_WEN\"><\/span>WEN ($WEN)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A small airdrop that I received from two wallets as a user of the Jupiter exchange on the Solana network.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the previous two, I sold 100% of this airdrop.<\/p>\n<p>I like holding the tokens of projects building something new, with continuous airdrop potential, and exploring new narratives. Memecoin profits are something I&#8217;d always rebalance away.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jupiter_Exchange_JUP\"><\/span>Jupiter Exchange ($JUP)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A bigger airdrop for users of the Jupiter exchange on the Solana network.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve made a swap on <a href=\"https:\/\/jup.ag\/\">Jupiter DEX<\/a> before November 2nd, 2023, head to the dApp and you might be up for a pleasant surprise.<\/p>\n<p>While there, it&#8217;s a good idea to accumulate some volume and try their other functionalities (limit orders, DCA, bridge, perpetuals), as the first distribution was just 1\/4 of the tokens allocated for airdrops.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mantle_Network_MNT\"><\/span>Mantle Network ($MNT)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Mantle wrapped up their <a href=\"https:\/\/journey.mantle.xyz\/en\">Mantle Journey campaign<\/a> and distributed $MNT to qualifying wallets.<\/p>\n<p>I got this airdrop from a single wallet, but due to my periodic activity on the network, it added up. And I wasn&#8217;t nearly as active as I am on Ethereum L2s &#8211; I just explored what&#8217;s new on <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/\">DefiLlama<\/a> every now and then.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pro tip<\/strong>: don&#8217;t underestimate your ongoing activity in the cryptosphere. See examples of it in my\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dpetkovski.com\/category\/cryptocurrency\/\"><em>&#8220;A Day in a LIfe of a Crypto Investor&#8221;<\/em><\/a>\u00a0posts.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mayan_Gold_GLD\"><\/span>Mayan Gold ($GLD)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know much about the roadmap of this project, but the token was distributed to liquidity providers with more than $2k in Maya Protocol pools.<\/p>\n<p>I feel that this is quite an &#8220;underfarmed&#8221; opportunity, so I&#8217;ll keep an eye on it as they&#8217;ll have another round in March.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pro tip:\u00a0<\/strong>explore ecosystems outside the popular chains and you might find hidden gems. Make sure to do proper due diligence.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sail_DAO_SAIL\"><\/span>Sail DAO ($SAIL)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I also don&#8217;t know what this project is about, but received the airdrop as an $OSMO delegator.<\/p>\n<p>It was the smallest airdrop from the list, but still deserves a mention.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ZetaChain_ZETA\"><\/span>ZetaChain ($ZETA)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>ZetaChain finally went live and distributed $ZETA tokens to users based on their testnet activity until August 2023.<\/p>\n<p>You can extract another\u00a0<strong>pro tip\u00a0<\/strong>from this: the importance of being active when crypto is &#8220;boring&#8221;, as many projects are building and taking snapshots during that time.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, 2023 was incredibly profitable for me, although there was no hype about crypto and I even got a few &#8220;Bitcoin is dead&#8221; IRL.<\/p>\n<p>I remained curious and here we are now!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Manta_Pacific_MANTA\"><\/span>Manta Pacific ($MANTA)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>$MANTA was distributed more than a week ago, but it was quite a significant airdrop so I want to cover it.<\/p>\n<p>They had two distributions: the <strong>actual airdrop<\/strong>, which was based on users&#8217; activity in the Manta Pacific ecosystem, and the <strong>Manta New Paradigm <\/strong>campaign, which was based on the wallet&#8217;s reputation across various Ethereum L2s (<a href=\"https:\/\/mantanetwork.medium.com\/new-paradigm-the-real-l2-that-helps-you-earn-more-yield-than-a-multisig-2f445ab4dc47\">details here<\/a>), subject to locking at least 0.25 $ETH until March.<\/p>\n<p>I was eligible from 3 wallets, but got the most rewards from my main one as I&#8217;m venturing in DeFi almost daily with it.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;New Paradigm&#8221; campaign started with an NFT drop and my profits came partially from trading them before the TGE (token generation event) and partially from the $MANTA distribution later on.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Polygon_zkEVM_Grandmaster_NFT\"><\/span>Polygon zkEVM Grandmaster NFT<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Still not a token distribution, but holding the Grandmaster NFT will definitely be a part of the eligibility criteria for Polygon zkEVM.<\/p>\n<p>The claim page just opened for participants in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intract.io\/quest\/65c0ce1daba4e2ae3c9737f0\">Polygon 2.0 zkEVM Saga campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t assign a monetary value to this NFT just yet, but eager to see how it develops!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Closing_Thoughts\"><\/span>Closing Thoughts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Although this was quite a profitable week (and month &#8211; but it&#8217;d be too long of a post if I include everything!), I still missed out on some airdrops that had recent distributions (like DMail).<\/p>\n<p>No complaints though!<\/p>\n<p>Life is good and I&#8217;m also up significantly in my existing holdings.<\/p>\n<p>Onto zkSync, Linea, EigenLayer, Scroll, Saga, LayerZero, Berachain, Wormhole, Taiko, Polyhedra, Base&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; That&#8217;s a long list&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a separate post of everything I&#8217;ve positioned myself for so far:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dpetkovski.com\/airdrops-im-hunting-or-received\/\"><strong>100+ Airdrops for 2024<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>And as I was clicking <em>publish<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wormhole.com\/wormhole-w-tokenomics\/\">Wormhole announced<\/a> that they <strong>just<\/strong> took the snapshot for their airdrop of $W.<\/p>\n<p>There literally isn&#8217;t a day in which I don&#8217;t get, qualify for, or hear about a new airdrop! \ud83d\udd25<\/p>\n<p>My dopamine receptors will need treatment after the <a href=\"https:\/\/dpetkovski.com\/the-4-year-cycle-bitcoin-price-prediction\/\">crypto bull run<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I recently published a post on Airdrops, explaining how DeFi users can profit massively from them.
