Session 1: Theory
Introduction to Self Custody: laying out the foundation of cold storage and responsible private key management, a thorough assessment of your personal circumstances, and choosing the right hardware wallet.
Session 2: Practice
Setting up your hardware wallet: a complete hands-on setup of your personalized self custody solution. We will utilize the knowledge from session 1, initialize your wallet, and (optionally) fund it and do test transactions.

Do I need any preliminary knowledge?
This is a beginner program.
No prerequisite knowledge is required, no experience is expected, and no familiarity with any terminology is assumed.
If you're not a beginner and need help with something specific, please contact me first to receive a custom offer.
Important: this is not a "should I buy X" discussion. So it's expected that you already (plan to) have assets that you wish to protect (for example, Bitcoin on a centralized exchange).
How do you handle cancellations, refunds, or rescheduling?
Please try to avoid cancellations. There are payment processing fees that are non-refundable even to me (totaling to ~5% of the full amount).
If you really need to cancel:
- More than 24h before our session, I'll refund the full amount minus 5%
- Less than 24h before our session, I’ll refund half the price
Rescheduling can be done at any time, but let's try to keep it up to once per session.
I can be more flexible with payments in BTC/crypto, so please contact me if you'd like to arrange that.
How are the sessions structured?
The coaching includes two 60 minute sessions: a theoretical one and a practical one.
They can be a day or weeks apart. We'll initially plan only the first one. Then, you take your time to digest the material and get yourself the suitable hardware wallet (to be concluded during session 1).
Once ready, we'll use the knowledge to set you up in session 2.
I'll hold your hand step by step, and don't worry, no sensitive data will be shared with me.
The default communication channels are Zoom and Google Meet.
If you’re not comfortable with video calls (due to privacy or any other reason), just mention it in your order (there is a textbox during checkout) and we can leave the cameras off.
If you prefer something else than video or audio calls, please contact me to discuss alternatives and receive a custom offer. I’ve done coaching through video and audio calls, but also via live chat, over email, and also in person.
